Tuesday
10:00-11:30am Yoga taught by Stacey Ramsower (all levels)
Stacey teaches an all-levels vinyasa flow yoga practice. Based on hatha yoga, vinyasa flow incorporates the Sun Salutation series in order to build heat and breath in the body. This practice is invigorating and strengthening, and also very simple to modify for all levels of fitness and practice. Set to music, Stacey's class intends to leave you with more space in your body and mind, and a big smile on your face.
6:00-7:30pm Intermediate Ballet taught by Jennifer Sommers
Emphasizing healthy alignment and movement patterns this class creates an efficient and fun approach to classical dance at the intermediate level. Great for advanced students as well.
Wednesday
6:00-7:30pm Hip Hop taught by Juanito Jimenez (all levels)
This class draws on the roots of break dancing and hip-hop styles. It's a fast paced but easy to follow workout that will make you sweat as well as educate you about b-boy culture and artistry.
Thursday
10:00-11:30am Beginning Modern taught by Mollie Miller
This class helps beginners learn fundamentals and will challenge more advanced dancers to polish their basic skills as well. Based off of Hawkins Technique fundamentals, class begins with a floor warm up focusing on use of psoas and initiation of movement from the pelvis. This idea of moving from our center of balance continues to develop through the class.
6:00-7:30pm Beginning Jazz taught by Mallory Horn
This is a high energy class that focuses on jazz technique and combinations. Perfect for all levels.
Saturday
11:00am-12:00pm Pilates taught by Kira Boerkircher (all levels)
The Pilates method of body conditioning is a unique system of stretching and strengthening exercises. The class progresses in a specific sequence to integrate greater movement skill resulting in a more fully integrated body and mind.
12:00-1:00pm Beginner Ballet taught by Rebecca French
A basic and relaxed class for beginners focusing on proper alignment and technique. Intermediate and advanced dancers will also benefit from the return to the fundamentals of ballet. Please wear comfortable, non-restrictive dance or workout clothes. Ballet shoes are recommended but not required. Hair should be pulled back and jewelry kept to a minimum.
1:00pm-1:30pm Beginner Pointe taught by Rebecca French
A pointe class for the rest of us! Beginner pointe integrates modern and ballet technique on pointe in a fun, arch-building, ankle-strengthening class.
Sunday
12:00-1:30pm Intermediate Modern dance taught by Rebecca French
A modern class that references fundamentals of Graham, Horton, and Taylor techniques within a contemporary framework. Includes floorwork, conditioning, stretches and fun, expressive combinations.
Walk-up rate:
$12 for a 1.5 hour class, $8 for a 1 hour class, $5 for a 1/2 hour class

Rebecca French, Artistic/Executive Director of FrenetiCore, has been dancing and choreographing since 1995, when she began her ballet and modern dance studies at the University of Houston. Rebecca's approach to choreography is based on her study of theater and numerous dance disciplines--including modern dance, ballet, jazz, folk (African, Middle Eastern), ballroom, tap, hip-hop, and gymnastics.
Stacey Ramsower began dancing at the age of three and found yoga at age 14. Inspired by the
practice and its ability to bring long-lasting physical, mental and emotional benefits, Stacey completed a 200 hour Teacher Training program through Yoga Works in Santa Monica, CA in 2005. She currently teaches at Joy Yoga Center and dances with FrenetiCore and the Brazilian Arts Foundation.

Mollie Miller holds a Bachelors of Science in Dance from Texas State University, where she studied Hawkins Technique. She currently dances with FrenetiCore, teaches around Houston and serves as distribution coordinator for Dance Source Houston.

Jennifer Sommers holds a Master of Fine Arts in Dance, Performance and Choreography from Smith College. Her training includes ballet, modern dance, dance history, anatomy and kinesiology. She currently teaches for Houston Ballet's Education Outreach Program and serves on the faculty of and choreographs for the University of Houston and Lonestar College.

Kira Boerkircher began dancing at age 3 in Cozad, Nebraska. Studying ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, hip-hop, gymnastics and cheer led her to pursue a degree in dance at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. There she began studying Pilates and Yoga in addition to further her knowledge of dance, studying under the direction of Cary Twomey.
